Australians go to the Polls on 21st May 2022 The Australian Government has announced that the federal election will be held on 21 May 2022

INTERNATIONAL: Overseas voters can also apply for a postal vote in this election. Check your enrolment and apply for a postal vote here: aec.gov.au/overseas.

It’s late to change or add any personal details but you can still use the postal service. You can vote in some Embassy around the world or check the aec.gov.au/election/overseas with a list of Countries you can vote at the Embassy

Australians in Cambodia are encouraged to vote in person at the Embassy from 10 May. Before you come in, make sure you check your enrolment. Please see our post website for more details: www.cambodia.embassy.gov.au

In-person voting will be available at Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh from 10 to 21 May. Voting Monday to Friday will be available between the hours of 8.30 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM. On Saturday 21 May voting will be available between 8.30 AM to 12 PM. Please note no one will be allowed entry to vote outside these times. Identification will be required for entry into the Embassy.

Australian Embassy Phnom Penh recommend in person voting due to the limited postal service in Cambodia however you may also cast a postal vote in this election, which can either be posted to the AEC directly, or mailed or dropped off to the Embassy. To send in your postal vote, please send to:

To drop off your postal vote, please deliver to the guardhouse.

Postal votes must be returned as quickly as possible to ensure they are received by the AEC in time to be counted.
